Bank of America hires European five

The Bank of America has hired five managers for its European debt platform as the bank continues to expand its Universal Bank strategy into Europe.

Piyanjali Abayaratna joins the global structured finance group with responsibility for structuring asset-backed securities transactions. Iftikhar Ali joins the investment grade trading group as head of credit arbitrage trading for Europe and Asia, while Rommie Bhutani becomes co-head financial sponsors/leveraged finance origination. Michael Coppock joins the bank’s debt capital markets group as head of financial institutions, while Vincent Moge joins the credit sales group as a senior salesperson.
