Hitchin now Railpen chief executive

The Railways Pension Trustee Company (Railpen), has promoted Chris Hitchin to chief executive following the retirement of Peter Murray.

Mr Hitchin, who joined Railpen in 1998, was previously responsible for developing and implementing investment management strategies involving some 30 external fund managers and over 200 railway industry employers.
